[For beginner] 3 TIPS to make your own minimalism journal spread design.

With freedom, books, flowers, and the moon. Who should not be happy? - Oscar Wilde
You bought a nice notebook and would like to make a journal spread but no idea of how to do? Here, share with you 3 tips to help you get ideas WITH ZERO BUDGET!
Tip 1:
Collect free stylish magazines and leaflets for the journal spread.
You don't have to collect a lot as it will be wasted. Just some in a while would be enough. Open and scan the collected magazines and pick those pages you like for your journal spread.
Tip 2:

Find a theme to focus on your spread so you won't be lost.
For example, my journal this time focused on book, a reddish, classic bookstore, girls drawing flowers on the notebook and the written line on the spread.
Tip 3:
Make it one layer by layer so your journal spread will not be flat.
Arranging items in layers can enhance the whole structure on your design.
Design material list (from left to right) :
- "Book and the city", a seasonal free journal from Macau Public Library.
- "A little thing", I bought this one with a good price few years ago and keep it until now.
- A little leaflet from a city project.
- A used notebook.
We need sustainable art journal - Let's be Eco-friendly. What do you think about this zero budget journal design?
